Blake Jacobs - Class of 2023
Before Law School…
I finished my undergraduate degree in December of 2019. From February - July 2020 I was on Active Duty for the Army, attending the Engineer Basic Officer Leadership Course at Fort Leonard in Wood, Missouri.
Why WVU Law?
I wanted to come to WVU Law because I completed my bachelor’s degree at WVU and really enjoyed my experience. WVU Law also offered great scholarship opportunities, and I like how it is the only law school in the region.
Law Interest?
My main interest within the law is probably Criminal Law because I find the cases to be fascinating.
In 10 years…
In 10 years, I hope to be a JAG with the West Virginia Army National Guard.
Outside of Law School…
Outside of law school, I like to either be active or completely lazy. I enjoy running, hiking, and lifting weights. I also enjoy video games, binge watching television, and reading (at least before law school).
