Biography 

Brad Grimes is the Assistant Director for the Meredith Center for Career Services and Professional Development at WVU’s College of Law. Brad is a native West Virginian from the Moundsville/Wheeling area. A 2007 graduate of WVU’s College of Law, Brad began his legal career at Orrick, Herrington & Suttcliffe, working as an attorney and, later, as an Attorney Team Lead at Orrick’s Global Operations Center in Wheeling. Subsequently, Brad worked at WVU as Program Director for the LGBTQ+ Center, where he developed and implemented student and faculty/staff programming.

As Assistant Director for the Meredith Center for Career Services and Professional Development, Brad executes and administers the College of Law’s bi-annual on-campus interviewing sessions, curates legal job posts for law students and alumni, and provides career coaching support to College of Law students and alumni. His career coaching and support includes one-on-one and group career planning and strategy sessions, resume and cover letter review, mock interviewing sessions, and professional readiness programming.
