What is your favorite law school memory?

My favorite law school memory is whitewater rafting for the first time with the Environmental Law Society. Going down the Upper Gauley River during Gauley Season was the biggest adrenaline rush ever and the sights are something I will never forget.

Who/what inspired you to to go law school?

I was inspired to go to law school because environmental issues have always been important to me and I knew that getting a law degree would be the best way for me to make a difference.

Who would you like to thank?

I want to thank all of my family and friends for supporting me the last three years; I would not have made it to the finish line without all of you pushing me there. Thank you to all of my professors for giving me the knowledge and tools I need to succeed as a lawyer. I learned so much specifically about environmental law from Professor McGinley and Professor Van Nostrand. Thank you Professor McConlogue for letting me help with your important research and papers. Last but not least, thank you to everyone at the Land Use Clinic—Kat, Jesse, Jason, Jared, Christy, Whitney, and Staci—for providing a safe space to learn how to be a lawyer.
