What is your favorite law school memory?

My favorite memory from my time at WVU Law was when our entire class attended fright farm together our 1 and 2L year, and tailgating on law school hill before football games.

Who/what inspired you to to go law school?

My great grandfather grew up in Tucker County, WV, after his family immigrated to America in the late 1800s. He worked in the coal mines as he saved and worked to establish himself in West Virginia. Many years later, I was fortunate enough to know him while he was still alive. He taught me the hard lessons of life, and encouraged me to reach higher. As he would put it, "Be a doctor or a lawyer." As life would have it, I met one of my friend's dad who served as an assistant prosecuting attorney in my hometown of Charles Town, WV. He introduced me to the law, and I have spent the last ten years realizing my desire to become an attorney.

Who would you like to thank?

I would like to thank God, my Mother and Father, my Grandparents, Jess Dobrinsky, Charlie Howard, Tyler Slavey, Brandon Shumaker, Professor Wilson, Professor DiSalvo, Cam Viney, Ashton Meyers, Cam Greza, Christian Huffman, Isaiah Robinson, Alex Blevins, Ramsey Jorgensen, Matty Way, Andrew Cranston, Derek Laxton, Michael Quinlan, Lyndsey Moran, Ben Maxon, Sierra Williams, Calvin Thomas, Mitch Moore, Cristian Dlesk, Matt Ellis, Mookie Penwell, David Murdock, Connor Holmes, Zane Bradbury, Garrett May, Houston Brautigan, and my dearest pets Scooter, Sniper, Millie, and Mars. From the bottom of my heart—thank you all so much.
