Marketing & Communications is responsible for the development and content maintenance of the WVU Law website ( The website runs on the WVU CMS (content management system) known as CleanSlate, and follows WVU branding and web guidelines.

Those guidelines are available at  University Relations-Brand and here  University Relations-Web.

The WVU Law website follows standard best practices for navigation, architecture and usability.

Blogs & Social Media 

Marketing & Communications will assist faculty and student organization in setting up and troubleshooting blogs and social media accounts, but the staff is not responsible for maintaining them. Contact  James Jolly for more information.

If a blog falls into disuse, Marketing & Communications take the appropriate steps to remove it from the internet.

We are responsible for the official WVU Law social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn. We reserve the right to remove posts that do not meet common decency standards, including racial slurs, inappropriate language, pornographic material, threats of violence or bullying, or illegal activities.
