Biography
Kaylyn Christopher has more than 10 years of experience as a head track and cross country coach in Division II athletics. She currently serves as the Head Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Coach at Fairmont State University, a part-time position. Her previous professional experience includes roles in public relations, marketing, and communications at the University of Virginia (University News Associate, Social Media Specialist), West Virginia University College of Law (Public Relations Specialist, 2014–2016), and Fairmont State University (Digital Communications Specialist).
Christopher competed in track and cross country at West Virginia University and continues to run road races. She qualified for and participated in the 2024 Boston Marathon and is currently training for the 2025 Chicago Marathon. In addition to her coaching responsibilities, she serves as President of the Marion County Running and Walking Club. She is also a freelance writer for Morgantown Magazine and WV Living Magazine.
In her free time, Christopher enjoys running, writing, traveling, and spending time with her cats. She also has a passion for discovering the best matcha lattes wherever she goes.
