The Class of 2029 Facebook Group is the official group page for the WVU Law Class of 2029. Please feel free to join it after receiving your offer of admission. We will post notifications and updates to the group page. It will also allow you to start meeting your future classmates!

Confirm Your Enrollment

There are three steps to confirm your enrollment at WVU Law for Fall 2026:

  1. Pay a non-refundable seat deposit of $400 by May 1, 2026;
  2. Complete a Confirmation of Enrollment form by June 15, 2026; and
  3. Submit an official transcript showing the conferral date of your bachelor’s degree.

All three steps must be completed for you to retain your seat in the Class of 2029.

Step 1: Paying Your Seat Deposit

A non-refundable seat deposit of $400 is due by 11:59 p.m. EST on May 1. Please follow the steps below to pay your seat deposit:

  1. Claim Your WVU Login Account and Access the WVU Student Portal

The WVU Portal is your gateway to online resources at WVU. To log in to the WVU Portal, you must first activate your WVU Login account. Activation instructions will be sent to the personal email address you provided on your application. Look for an email from Okta and follow the steps to activate your WVU Login account.

Once your WVU Login account is activated, you will receive the details you need to sign into the WVU Portal. If you experience any issues, please contact the WVU ITS Service Desk for assistance.

  2. Pay Your Seat Deposit Via WVU MyAccount

Once you have claimed your WVU Login account, you can pay your academic deposit via your WVU MyAccount. For information on setting up your WVU MyAccount and making payments, refer to the WVU MyAccount Tutorials.

Should the $400 seat deposit pose a significant financial burden for you at this time, please contact the Enrollment Management Office at wvulaw.admissions@mail.wvu.edu to discuss your options. We do not want the seat deposit to be a barrier to you joining WVU Law.

Step 2: Completing the Confirmation of Enrollment Form

The Confirmation of Enrollment form will be sent via email following the May 1 seat deposit deadline. You must complete it by 11:59 p.m. EST on June 15 to retain your seat in the Fall 2026 class. If you do not complete the Confirmation of Enrollment form by the June 15 deadline, we will make your seat in the Class of 2029 available to a student on the waitlist.

Step 3: Submitting Your Final Transcript

Your seat in the Class of 2029 is subject to the Enrollment Management Office receiving an official transcript from your undergraduate institution with the conferral date of your bachelor’s degree. Please submit all final transcripts to LSAC for processing. This must be completed by the start of Orientation.

Students who will not be able to submit their final transcript by the start of Orientation must notify the Enrollment Management Office immediately to retain their seat in the entering class.

Please note, if we have not received your final transcript by October 15, you will not be allowed to register for the spring semester until we receive your final transcript.

For 3+3 students, we must receive an updated transcript with your final undergraduate grades to confirm your enrollment. You will then be required to submit a final transcript by October 15 of your second year of law school, once your bachelor’s degree from WVU has been conferred. A copy of your final transcript should sent to the Enrollment Management Office and the College of Law’s Academic Program Coordinator, Theresa Lubich.
