Meet Dean Rinehart Save the Date

  • Meet Dean Rinehart! Join us Wednesday, August 18, at noon in the Fitzsimmons Event Hall to get to know Dean Amelia Smith Rinehart. 


3Ls Save the Date

  • Mandatory Class Meeting – September 2 at noon in the Fitzsimmons Event Hall.
  • Class Composite photos will be taken in November! Keep an eye on your email for the dates.

2Ls Save the Dates

  • Mandatory Class Meeting – August 31 at noon in the Fitzsimmons Event Hall
  • 2L Class Retreat – September 25th – more information to come soon!
  • 2Ls Save the Date – Professional Headshots are being offered free this fall. Keep an eye on your email for the dates.

Book Orders with Financial Aid

  • Deadline to submit book orders with financial aid is August 4 at 11:00 p.m.
  • If you are using financial aid to pay for your book, please indicate that you will pick up your orders. Due to processing time, books may not meet their shipped location prior to the start of classes.

Get Your Parking Permit

  • Don’t forget to renew or purchase your parking permit . The College of Law lots are areas 42 and 76.

Important Student Payment Information

  • You should already have access to your fall tuition bill.  
  • For those of you who have a bill, it is especially important to make a note that you must pay in full or enroll in a payment plan by August 1. If you do not, then on August 2, you will be assessed a late fee. If you have questions about your bill, you can contact the Mountaineer Hub in Evansdale Crossing at 304-293-1988. You can also access the  student accounts webpage for additional information.

  • If you did not have a locker, but would like to have one, sign up day is coming! Keep an eye on your email for more information!

Clinic Students Save the Date

  • Immigration Law Clinic orientation will be Tuesday, August 17, from 9 a.m. until the full clinic swearing-in session that afternoon at 2 p.m.

Students Can Attend WVCLE Seminars

WVCLE hosts Mountaineer Series Continuing Legal Education events each fall in conjunction with WVU football home games. These CLE events are geared toward practicing attorneys as continuing education lectures, but they will all provide some practical lessons and networking for soon-to-be attorneys too!
