The WVU Professional Development Institute (PDI) is a series of events to help prepare students for the practice of law by providing information on the professional expectations and standards of behavior required for a successful legal career.
Legal employers are increasingly demanding law students have the “soft skills” that previously were found only in experienced attorneys. As a result, students must accept responsibility for developing these skills outside the classroom. By participating in these seminars, students are taking the first step towards investing in their legal career and future professionalism.
The seminars will be held throughout each semester. Depending on time of day, lunch or snacks will be provided.
