WVU Law is seeking applications for the position of Special Events Coordinator Senior.
This position is primarily responsible for the overall administration, planning,
coordination, implementation and assessment of a wide variety of College of Law
functions/events such as conferences, speakers, student competitions, major special
events, faculty speakers/presentations, dedications, and ceremonies. This position
is also responsible for supporting the ongoing development efforts for the College
involving a variety of functions to insure proper cultivation, solicitation, and
stewardship of the College Development programs and donors. This position is also
responsible for establishing an environment conducive to cultivating and inspiring
alumni and non-alumni financial generosity through the planning and implementation
of alumni and donor related events, dedications, and recognition.
Access to Justice Commission Executive Director 08910
WVU Law is seeking applications for the position of Executive Director to the Access to Justice Commission. The Executive Director works part-time at the direction of the Commission and the Dean of the College of Law to execute various projects established by the Access to Justice Commission. This will involve working with law students and law faculty to complete projects, maintaining responsibility for the Commission’s records and accounts, working with Law School Development staff to generate funding, and seeking grant opportunities to support the Commission’s work. WVU Law is seeking applications for the position of Director of Consumer Protection. This position works part-time at the direction of the Dean of the College of Law and the WVU Committee for the WVU/MU Joint Consumer Project. As the Director, this position will conduct and oversee scholarly research on consumer law matters; prepare publications for the public and conduct outreach programs on consumer issues; provide training to assist the dissemination of consumer information to the public; and coordinate College’s consumer law activities with Marshall University’s Joint Project Committee and its Director.Find out more
