Devyn Leach - Class of 2019
Before Law School…
I graduated from WVU in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, and I took two years off before coming to law school. First, I worked at a ski resort in Breckenridge, Colorado. Then, I moved to Thailand and was a teacher there for a little while before I went backpacking throughout Southeast Asia.
Why WVU Law?
Law school is exciting to me because there are so many different opportunities, and I won’t be limited to a specific career path. WVU Law’s LL.M program in Energy and Sustainable Development Law and the International Law and Practice Concentration were very appealing to me when I was deciding on a law school.
I am interested in International Law and Energy Law.
In 10 years…
I am not sure where my law degree will take me yet, but in 10 years, I hope to be happy, successful and making a significant difference in whatever career I choose after graduation.
Outside of Law School…
I love outdoor sports, and my hobbies outside of school include hiking, climbing and snowboarding. I am also an avid gym-goer and prioritize physical fitness.
