West Virginia University understands the importance of Commencement for our graduates, their families and friends. With the guidance of our COVID advisory team, we are moving forward planning in-person ceremonies to take place (rain or shine) at Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium for the Class of 2021.
We are also excited to welcome back our May, August and December 2020 graduates to participate with the May 2021 graduates and we hope they will return to campus to celebrate their achievements!
The College of Law ceremony will take place May 16 with COVID restrictions in effect. Masks and social distancing will be required. All participants must register to allow us to meet this restriction. Due to health and safety protocols, ticket distribution for guests will be limited. We will know more in the coming weeks. We will follow the guidance of our medical advisers as it relates to COVID and will adjust plans as necessary.
We look forward to celebrating this milestone achievement with you!
Commencement 2021 will be joint ceremonies for WVU schools and colleges. WVU Law will share its commencement with:

- School of Medicine
- School of Nursing
- School of Pharmacy
- School of Public Health
