Symposium 2026: Artificial Intelligence and the Legal Profession
Friday, April 10, 2026, Morgantown, West Virginia
This year, we’re focusing on how artificial intelligence is changing the legal profession, legal curricula, and the technology industry. Our academic advisor for this year’s Symposium is WVU College of Law Associate Professor Amy Cyphert, a recognized expert in the field of artificial intelligence. We hope our Symposium will further the discussion surrounding the ever-evolving innovations and controversies of AI.
We anticipate that over 150 legal practitioners, academics, and industry leaders will participate. The West Virginia Law Review will reimburse all reasonable travel and lodging expenses associated with your participation in the Symposium.
Please reach out to our Symposium Editors, Alan Parsons (amp0004@mix.wvu.edu) and Zach Rohrbaugh at (zrr00001@mix.wvu.edu), if you have any further questions. We hope you’ll join us to discuss this important and timely issue!
