Dean’s Message on Giving
The WVU College of Law is perfectly situated to take a major leap forward in the next decade and to be recognized nationally for its excellent students, faculty, curriculum and programs. Its ability to do this is dependent upon the dedication of its alumni and friends through private giving. Our strategic priorities focus on four critical needs. The expansion and improvement of current facilities to provide for a 21st-Century legal education. Recruitment of highly qualified and diverse students. Expansion of programs to provide a competitive curriculum. The development and retention of high qualified faculty. All these priorities are essential to fulfill the College of Law’s mission to educate lawyers, who will become leaders in the state, the nation and the world, and to serve the land-grant mission of the University through education, scholarship and service.
